    Japanese ceramic vase heavily glazed in translucent tones of white, purple, grey and red by Yasuda Zenko (b. 1926), C20th

    A well respected 20th century Japanese potter, Yasuda Zenko studied at the Kyoto Craft-Fabric University where he specialised in the making of kilns,afterwhich he studied pottery under the artist Kiyomizu Rokubee (1901-1980). In 1958 he was awarded the Japanese Ceramic Society prize and since has often beenincluded in the Nitten (annual and renowned Japan Art Academy Award). His work was acquired by Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1964. Zenko createsunique and distinctive stoneware using complex glazing techniques. This example is signed on the base and accompanied by its original paulownia wood boxalso signed by the artist.

    Click and collect

    Charges apply for storage beyond the initial period. You may also decide to use the Click and Collect service if you have an existing/preferred carrier for interstate and international shipping.

    Shipping

    We can ship orders worldwide. Kazari + Ziguzagu uses competitive and reliable shipping services including but not limited to Auspost, DHL and local couriers and carriers, as well as art and antique specific interstate and international carriers.

    Shipping can be added at checkout for Domestic deliveries (Australia).

    Additional insurance may be required as standard insurance may not be sufficient to cover loss or damage of fragile or expensive items.

    Refunds & Returns

    Should you consider an item flawed or damaged upon delivery please email or call Kazari P/L within 5 business days of receipt of the goods quoting the original order/reference number and your reason for returning the item.

    If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason other than a faulty or incorrect item, we cannot refund the goods however can offer a credit note, valid for 12 months from the date of return. In the case of online purchases all shipping costs, including packaging and postage charges for return of the item to be exchanged and dispatch of the replacement item are to be paid by the customer.
