    Learn the art of Ikebana flower arranging! 

    On Sunday 26th November award winning flower designer Shoso Shimbo will host a 2 hour long Ikebana workshop at Kazari + Ziguzagu.

    Sip Japanese tea, whilst learning how to make a beautiful flower arrangement informed by a 500 year old tradition. Shoso Shimbo is of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana and will discuss the history and culture of Ikebana, as well as the basic principles.

    Where: Kazari + Ziguzagu shop, 450 Malvern Road, Prahran VIC 3181 

    When: Sunday 26th November, 3:00pm till 5pm

    Cost: $95 per person (Max 20 participants)

    Shoso Shimbo PhD is a certified teacher of Ikebana and has over 20 years experience in Ikebana. Shoso was selected by Belle magazine as one ofsix “Australia’s top floral designers” and has won multiple awards including the Gold Award at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. His works were selected for the prestigious publication, International Floral Art (Stichting Kunstboek)

    Shoso has an MA in Japanese Studies, a Master of Fine Art and PhD in Education. He is also qualified as a garden designer. He is a directer of International Society of Ikebana Studies and he teaches Japanese Aesthetics: From Flower Arrangements to Contemporary Art at RMIT.

    Click and collect

    At checkout select the ‘Click and Collect’ shipping method. You will be contacted by a Kazari + Ziguzagu team member who will advise when you can collect your items. Items will be ready for collection within 1 business day and must be collected within 5 business days unless otherwise arranged.

    Charges apply for storage beyond the initial period. You may also decide to use the Click and Collect service if you have an existing/preferred carrier for interstate and international shipping.

    Shipping

    We can ship orders worldwide. Kazari + Ziguzagu uses competitive and reliable shipping services including but not limited to Auspost, DHL and local couriers and carriers, as well as art and antique specific interstate and international carriers.

    Shipping can be added at checkout for Domestic deliveries (Australia).

    Additional insurance may be required as standard insurance may not be sufficient to cover loss or damage of fragile or expensive items.

    Refunds & Returns

    Should you consider an item flawed or damaged upon delivery please email or call Kazari P/L within 5 business days of receipt of the goods quoting the original order/reference number and your reason for returning the item.

    If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason other than a faulty or incorrect item, we cannot refund the goods however can offer a credit note, valid for 12 months from the date of return. In the case of online purchases all shipping costs, including packaging and postage charges for return of the item to be exchanged and dispatch of the replacement item are to be paid by the customer.
